PMI® Implements Code of Conduct

Effective 1 January, 2007, PMI instituted a Code of Conduct that and applies to all PMI members and nonmembers who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Individuals who apply to commence a PMI certification process
  • Individuals who hold a PMI certification
  • Individuals who volunteer for PMI

The Code of Conduct was published in the December issue of PMI Today and is also available on the home page of the PMI web site. If you feel that you have an ethical issue that may need to be addressed, please contact the DPC SIG Chair.

The DPC SIG is a volunteer-driven organization. We encourage our members to be actively involved in SIG activities and special projects by:

  • filling leadership positions within the organization: Vice Chairs, Deputies, Committee Members
  • contributing articles to The Project Management Standard newsletter
  • managing special projects
  • working on designated project activities, Local Interest Group (LIG) meetings and professional development conferences
