seeks leaders in project management for nomination to the 2007 PMI Certification
Governance Council (CGC). Perhaps you, or someone you know, are interested
in this exceptional leadership opportunity. The nomination period is
open until March 24, 2006.
TheCGC is a chartered committee of PMI’s Board of Directors. Council members lead and govern some of the Institute’s most vital certification functions in support of the PMP® and CAPM® credentials and examinations, and supervise the nomination and selection of CGC members. Service on the council affords exceptional opportunities to guide and influence the future of PMI and its globally recognized credentials.
If you would like to serve on the PMI CGC, please apply by Friday, 24 March, through PMI’s Volunteer Opportunities Web page. SIG Invites DPC SIG Members to Attend Meeting to Discuss Status of the
SoPM SIG
The
Students of PM SIG is meeting on 11 March 2006 in Livonia, Michigan. The
SIG will have a guest from PMI HQ explaining the results of their student
survey that was run last year. The SIG will also be conducting a PM program
review for Eastern Michigan University and discuss the current and future
status of the Students of PM SIG.
Purpose of the meeting:
- Share “best practices” of your SIG
- Understand the role of a student member in PMI
- Assist the Students of PM SIG in brainstorming for the future
