Publication Program Update

The DPC SIG is looking for volunteers to assist in the development of booklets specific to our Industry. The idea behind this initiative is to translate into practical guides the best examples of project management as it applies to four Construction Sectors (Airport, Industrial Business Park, Highway & Railway, Residential). The first publication on Residential has been kicked-off with a targeted date postponed to 15 March 2009 for the technical problems. The second publication is about to start and it will focus on Highway & Railway. The focus on "Green" issues and innovation will still be a leitmotiv. The publication process will follow the same idea with a Panel of Experts to review the draft and the presentation to the SIG Community through a webinar (targeted date 15April 2009). Worldwide and cross-sector expertise is very welcomed.

Your support and contribution is critical in providing input and in delivering a useful working tool for our Professional Community. The only criteria for volunteering is your enthusiasm for project management and the Construction Sector. If you are willing to contribute to the publications or just curious about this initiative please contact Deputy First Vice Chair Fabrizio Rossi at deputyfirstvc@dpcsig.org.

Note: in the past we experienced and resolved a technical issued with the email provided above. If you've received an error message when applied, please do accept my apologize for the inconvenience. We warmly invite to re-express your interest in this initiative. For any technical issues please contact administrator@dpcsig.org.
