Richard Gerspacher, PM at Fluor, recently delivered a presentation on the Newmont TS Power Plant Project at the PMI® Palmetto Chapter in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mr. Gerspacher's presentation drew a crowd of 85 people as he presented on the "2009 PMI® Project of the Year", the Newmont TS Power Plant project. During the presentation he explained why the Newmont project won this prestigious award and he shared the two most "project differentiators" that made this project world class.

DPC SIG members are invited to submit an article to the Leadership and Management in Engineering (LME) journal for a special issue focusing on the practical initiatives engineers and other major project stakeholders are introducing to achieve the outcomes presented in "Achieving the Vision for Civil Engineering in 2025: A Roadmap for the Profession."

PMI ISSIG PDS'10 - Registration Now Open
