Chair
The
Chair shall be the chief operating officer of the SIG, and shall direct
activities of the other Board members (other elected officers), in accordance
with the SIG constitution and bylaws.
First Vice Chair
The First Vice Chair shall act as
DPC SIG Chair, during the absence of the elected SIG Chair, until such
time as the Chair returns or a new Chair is elected.
Vice
Chair Communications
Communications is responsible for the DPC SIG quarterly
newsletter and any other DPC SIG publications as well as organized SIG
communication through the PMI Internet forum.
Vice Chair Projects
shall be responsible for planning, directing and overseeing DPC SIG
sponsored programs, projects and special activities which are not the
specific responsibility of another Board member.

DPC

Information About the Election
Officers will be elected to a two (2) year term from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008. All elected officer positions are open to any members of the DPC SIG, who are also members in good standing of PMI®. Elections are being held in August to allow for an overlapping transition period between the incoming and outgoing officers.
You may nominate yourself or another member for a position. Should you wish to nominate another member, please first confirm that that member is willing to stand for the position. A confirming e-mail will be sent to each nominee to verify his/her agreement with the nomination. Candidates are urged to include a brief biography (no more than 200 words) with their nomination. Bios will be posted to the web site during the election period which is tentatively scheduled for August 16 - 30, 2006.
